Cookery Classes at the Pilgrim

The Pilgrim is pleased to launch it's new Cookery Classes for 2013, aimed at those of us who aren't quite sure if we are doing it the way that award winning chefs would! Head Chef Deepak will be showing how to make Indian food just like his mother taught him, Michelin Chef Brent will be creating some superb breads and between them they will be cooking up a storm of great puddings. These courses are ideal as a present for a loved one or just as a gift to yourself. There will be no more than 4 students per class and they will take place between 2.30pm and 5pm in the Hotel kitchen. Content will vary each week and will build towards a rounded knowledge by the end of 3 weeks! Check out the details http://www.pilgrimhotel.co.uk/cookeryclasses.htm

Prime Minister Drops In

We had a surprise visitor yesterday when David Cameron and his entourage stopped off for a coffee during a visit to Herefordshire. Restaurant diners looked on in amazement as the Prime Minister enjoyed a coffee whilst catching up with his aides prior to visiting the Rotherwas Trading Estate. The group stayed for about 45 minutes and enjoyed some home made shortbread biscuits with their hot drinks. Before leaving the PM shook hands with Hotel owner Steve Boyle and thanked the staff for their kindness and for looking after his team so well.
